Services Room and Rate Restriction
The offering of services to booking guests in the Booking Engine can now be related to specific rooms or rate plans so that a service is only offered when a specific room or rate plan has been selected. NOTE: service restriction is for Booking Engine only, a restricted service will not show in DSR.
The restricting of services enables hoteliers to be creative on what services can be offered as they can be tailored to best match the likely guests of a room and room rate in it. More exclusive or varied more services can be offered overall and by focusing to specific guest types sell more services.
The ability to set restrictions for a service has been added in a new Restrictions card to the existing Service detail page. The base options are to have no restriction, restrict to certain rooms or restriction to certain rate plans. A single service can only be related to rooms or rate plans, not both.
The service can then also be restricted relative to promotions.

Rate plans are individually selected and added. Offers also show as rates, so a service can be restricted to an Offer, the Offer must be selected in order for the restricted service to be available.
The availability of a service to a booking guest can also be restricted relative to rate promotions.
All promotions - the availability of a service is not affected by a rate being from a promotion or not.
No promotions - there is no availability of a service when the rate is from a promotion
All promotions except these - there is no availability of a service when the rate is from a selected promotion
The restricted services show in the services page within KUBE when related rooms and rate plans are selected and any promotion restrictions do not stop showing of service.
When a selected room or rate plan is changed in the basket, the added service are removed. Those service that show for selection are updated based on the latest room or rate plan selected and added to basket.
